Translational Bioinformatics for Cytometry

Abstract

Cytometry data sets are increasingly large and high dimensional, and cannot be effectively analyzed by standard manual methods. Tools to automate population identification exist, but reproducibility and interpretation are critical for results arising clinical trial data sets. I will present an overview of open source software tools that enable reproducible processing, gating and analysis of such data sets, as well as new computational and statistical methods for downstream modeling of cytometry data. New results will be presented along with future directions for research.
